alfie was mentally kicking himself, this was his fault, it had to be. "what did you do to yourself love?" he asked, not really expecting an answer. alfie wasn't good with looking after drunk people, he was normally the one being looked after

i remember one day my mum came home pissed and she was lying on the couch like 'you're my favourite daughter' and she couldn't pronounce my name 8)
the sound of her crying broke alfie's heart, "please stop crying" he mumbled. he crawled into the bed beside her and wrapped his arms around her, "please.."
