alfie was wandering around campus, trying to distract himself. he spotted astrid out of the corner of his eye and he smiled, but it quickly faded. he cupped his hands over his mouth before he shouted at her, "hiya love"

astrid took another drag and tapped off some ashes before seeing alfie, she smiled and waved back, `hey` she said, hoping he could come over.

he half-jogged over to her, sitting himself down beside her. "thank you" he said, plucking her cigarette from between her fingers taking a drag and handing it back to her

`no problem love` she answered with a smile, taking the cigarette back and taking a drag, `how are you?` she asked him. she hoped titus wouldn't see her with him, he'd probably just shout at her or something

"Sleep deprived" he admitted but he wasn't going to tell we why bc y'know it was her, "you? Did you recover from your birthday party?"

`yeah, it was great` she nodded with a smile, she was still wearing the necklace titus gave her. `although i did wander off like half an hour after it started` she shrugged.

"i don't think your boyfriend likes me very much" he said with a weak laugh, rooting around in his pockets for his cigarettes as he spoke

`i don't think you like him either` she said, biting her lip and passing him her packets of cigarettes and a lighter. `he doesn't know you, that's all.` she shrugged

he ignored her first statement, mumbling a thank you and lighting up a cigarette instead. He took a quick drag from the cigarette before handing the stuff back to her, "i don't think it's just that.."

she bit her lip, unsure of what to say. ` he just overreacts ` she mumbled, looking down at the floor and back up at him. she took another drag.

"Well, as long as he makes you happy love" he said, leaning over and pecking her cheek but instantly regretting it, "uh, sorry..." he mumbled, looking down at his shoes

her smile grew when he kissed her, `it's fine` she replied, `you don't have anything to be sorry for` she said, throwing her cigarette on the floor and stepping onto it with the tip of her shoe

"Yeah i do, you have a - uh - a whatever the fuck Titus is to you and i can't just do little things like that any more" he said, trying to convince himself more than Astrid. He blew some smoke down towards his feet, no really wanting to look at her bc it upset him

`it was only a friendly kiss. nothing more` she muttered, he followed his gaze to his shoes and she kind of frowned. `i'm going to be honest with you and i'm going to say that i have absoulutely no clue why the fuck i'm dating him` she admitted

he scuffled one of his docs back and forth, "yeah, but still, i can't do that type of thing when you have a b-" he was cut off when he heard what she said, a frown coming across his face, "Astrid you can't do that to him"
