she honestly just wanted to turn around and shout at him but she walked away. he didn't seem to happy but she just shrugged it off, heading upstairs to get some clothes. she had a massive headache and she didn't feel to good either.

alfie contemplated going after, but he shrugged it off. she probably didn't care, she'd known he was off his face but he couldn't help but feel like she wasn't telling him the whole truth

alfie eventually gave in and stood up from the couch, probably a bit too fast. he held a hand to his head for a moment as he tried to keep his balance. he went up to wherever astrid was and knocked on the door before noticing it wasn't locked, "astrid love?" he called out as he walked through the door, "what's wrong?" he asked when he saw that she was nearly in tears

alfie felt a pang of sympathy for her and did something he rarely did sober, he pulled her in for a hug, "bad dreams are the worst because you know that there you're own thoughts" he mumbled, planting a kiss on top of her head, "maybe you should talk to someone about it if it's repeating?"
