astrid didn't know what to do when he snapped, now she definitely wanted to disappear, but she turned around, looking down at his shoes then back up at him, her eyes watering. she looked horrific, at least that's what she told herself.

alfie opened his eyes when she finished talking but her explanation only made his headache ten times worse, "i-i'm sorry" he replied, "you're not pathetic, you know what's pathetic, getting so drunk that you don't remember anything and end up hurting your best friend, that's pathetic" he wanted to pull her in for another hug but he thought he might just make things worse like he usually did
